This sector tends to be highly conservative, with multi-generational businesses traditionally relying on reputation and word of mouth. Adding to the challenge, trust in construction is low, with frequent complaints about delays, hidden costs, and unexpected changes. For Rancho, the rise in affluent foreign property owners in their area meant untapped business opportunities, which would be missed without a proactive approach to branding. To unlock this potential, Rancho needed to redefine its image.

Rancho’s strength lies in its trustworthy, seasoned professionals—a key differentiator in a field where poor experiences are common. To combat the industry’s negative reputation, we crafted a brand centered around the people who bring Rancho’s projects to life. By putting the faces and names of its skilled workers at the forefront, the brand’s human side could be emphasized. This approach aimed to build an immediate sense of reliability and connection, resonating with clients and setting Rancho apart. Hence, Somos Constructores (We Are Builders) became the slogan, emphasizing experience and pride in the craft.

Two brothers Manolo and Miguel following in their father’s footsteps in home construction exceeded all expectations when they decided to undergo a rebranding process. Construction work often disrupts peace, with building or renovating full of challenges, delays, and disagreements. But the Rancho brand proves it doesn’t have to be this way. The best thing about Rancho is its consistency: from start to finish, the result is always excellent construction and a seamless process. Their brand leaves no room for doubt—detailed, solid, and capable of handling any challenge. This impactful rebranding reasserted Rancho’s presence as a powerful local leader, making people ask, "Have you been acquired by a big company?"

Naming

"Rancho" evokes an authentic, soulful refuge, a secluded place where freedom becomes a way of life. It’s a place surrounded by nature, where time seems to stand still, and every corner invites calm and a deep connection to the essentials. An open space where days flow in harmony with the land. The symbol of a simple life, where one can live in peace, free to breathe, create, and dream. That’s why the first thing we did was to shorten its name to simply *Rancho*—formerly *Construcciones El Rancho de Almuñécar*—to give it greater prominence.

Behind the Logo

The Rancho logo conveys simplicity, strength, and
solidity of its slogan Somos Constructores. Geometric forms subtly evoke essential construction tools and materials, grounding the brand in its field. The distinctive “R” symbolizes a journey—a path leading home—reflecting Rancho’s commitment to making clients feel secure and at ease with their projects. This blend of elements creates a logo that honors Rancho’s heritage while disrupting typical construction industry aesthetics, making the brand impossible to ignore.
